The property offers an executive meeting room accommodating up to 45, a swimming pool and hot tub, as well as a collection of working gardens producing vegetables and flowers for the hotel and adjoining restaurant. All garden rooms have private balconies with the lower units also featuring private back patios with Japanese Ofuro soaking tubs.
History
Located on historic Main Street in Upper Lake, CA (2.5 hours north of San Francisco and west of Sacramento) The Tallman Hotel is a country inn that was originally built in the 1890s when Upper Lake was a stage terminus for visitors to the area's many hot springs resorts. Over the years, the hotel went through various name changes and eventually fell into disrepair. The Tallman Hotel has now been lovingly restored and the adjacent "watering hole," the Blue Wing Saloon, has been re-created and converted into a quality restaurant using historic photos to capture the original look and feel.
